About Jane

One of the things I enjoy most about my work is helping people make sense of what’s happening in their bodies.
Pain can be frustrating and confusing. It often affects far more than the area that hurts, influencing how we move, sleep, work and enjoy everyday life.
My role isn’t simply to provide hands-on treatment. It’s to listen carefully, understand the bigger picture and create a personalised approach that helps people reduce pain, restore movement and feel more confident in their bodies.
I believe that understanding is an important part of treatment. I want every client to leave feeling not only physically better but also clearer about why they were experiencing pain in the first place.
My approach
I’m an Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist and an Advanced Ayurvedic Practitioner with over 15 years of experience.
Clinical Massage gives me an evidence-informed understanding of muscles, joints and movement.
Ayurveda encourages me to look more widely at the factors that influence health and wellbeing, recognising that every person is unique.
Rather than seeing these as two separate disciplines, I bring them together to create treatment that is thoughtful, personalised and centred around the individual sitting in front of me.
No two appointments are ever exactly the same because no two people are ever exactly the same.
My philosophy
I don’t believe in routine treatments.
I believe in listening before treating.
Looking beyond the obvious.
Explaining what I’m finding in a way that makes sense.
Working together to help people move with greater ease and confidence.
It’s an approach built on curiosity, understanding and thoughtful care.
Beyond the clinic
When I’m not helping people in the clinic, you’ll most likely find me on my yoga mat, tending my garden or experimenting in the kitchen. I love growing my own culinary and medicinal herbs and have always been fascinated by the connection between nature, food and wellbeing.
I’m equally happy with muddy gardening boots as I am with a good cookbook, and I rarely say no to a good cup of coffee.
My interest in Ayurveda isn’t something I switch on when I arrive at work. It naturally influences how I live, encouraging me to appreciate the rhythms of the seasons and the simple habits that help us feel balanced, energised and well.
